1. Overview

n of 1 LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) develops applications for Garmin’s Connect IQ platform that may access certain user data provided by your Garmin device or associated Garmin services.  This Privacy Statement describes what information we access, how we use it, and your choices about that use.

We are committed to ensuring transparency, respecting user privacy, and complying with the Garmin Connect IQ Developer Program Agreement and applicable data-protection laws.

2. Information We Access

Depending on the features of a given app, we may access:

• Device information: model, firmware version, display metrics, system language, and battery status.

• Activity and sensor data: heart rate, steps, distance, stress, oxygen saturation (SpO₂), sleep duration, movement, and position or altitude data where available.

• User-provided profile data: such as age, weight, height, gender, and activity goals stored in Garmin Connect.

• Environmental or contextual data: including temperature, weather conditions, and time of day.

• App usage data: metrics such as launch frequency, feature use, and display preferences

We do not access contact, payment, or personally identifying Garmin account information.

3. How We Use the Information

We may use accessed information for:

• Core functionality: providing and displaying real-time metrics and insights within the app or watch face.

• Performance optimization: improving responsiveness, stability, and battery efficiency.

• User experience enhancements: personalizing visual layouts or adaptive behavior based on activity or environment.

• Research and development: aggregating anonymized or de-identified data to analyze trends and develop new features.

• Optional analytics or integrations: combining data across n of 1 apps or services to enhance accuracy, insight, or personalization.

4. Data Sharing and Storage

• n of 1 LLC apps do not transmit or store identifiable data externally without explicit user action (e.g., opting into cloud sync or linked account features).

• Data processed on the device stays on the device unless you opt to connect to another n of 1 LLC service or authorize data transfer.

• If future n of 1 LLC apps or companion services offer cloud features, users will receive an in-app notice and updated privacy terms before any remote data transfer occurs.

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share personal data with third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for the feature in use or as required by law.
If an app caches limited sensor data for analysis or display, it will be deleted automatically when the app resets, is uninstalled, or the device syncs data through Garmin Connect.

6. Your Choices and Controls

• You can uninstall any n of 1 LLC app at any time to stop data collection.

• You can restrict app permissions in Garmin Connect IQ or on your device (e.g., by disabling location or sensor access).

• For any app that offers optional online services, you may opt in or out of data synchronization independently.

7. Future Use and Updates

We may expand our use of data to provide enhanced functionality, insights, or analytics across n of 1 LLC applications or services. If we materially change how we use or share data, we will update this statement and provide notice through the app or Garmin Connect IQ Store listing.
